The Heart Behind Our Mission
The Founder's Journey
Pastor Mrs. Anowa Boison Ochire
A breast cancer survivor and a passionate advocate for early detection, Pastor Anowa's personal journey is the cornerstone of VECC. The painful loss of her twin sister, Diana Boison Annan, to ovarian cancer ignited a fire within her to create a beacon of hope.
Voice for Early Cancer Care (VECC) was born from this deep well of faith, courage, and compassion. Our mission is to give hope, spread awareness, and provide unwavering support to vulnerable individuals in their fight against cancer, ensuring no one walks this path alone.
Our Mission
To advocate for early cancer detection and care by breaking down the barriers of ignorance, fear, and financial hardship that prevent so many from seeking help in time.
Our Vision
A world where no one suffers needlessly from cancer due to late detection. We envision a future where every person has access to knowledge, screening, and the support needed to live a full and hopeful life.
